Brand IDENTITY DESIGN
son of baldwin
Robert Jones Jr., founder of Son of Baldwin (SOB), wanted a brand design that celebrated both the Black experience and Black queerness, with a strong focus on honoring Black women.
To bring this vision to life, We drew inspiration from African cultural patterns, like Bògòlanfini from Mali, and incorporated iconography that represents Black love, resilience, and hope using bold fonts, symbolic shapes, and vibrant colors.
